Staff Analysis of the Legislation

This bill makes it a Class B misdemeanor to fail to provide reasonable assistance to a person suffering serious bodily injury as a result of a crime or emergency. Assistance means contacting paramedics, fire protection, law enforcement or other appropriate emergency services. |
